Upload Products and Assign Categories

One of the most essential steps in opening an online shop is to upload and showcase your products. Your products will be the heart of your online store - that’s why you need to have a powerful backend that can support easy uploading and dynamic management of your products.

Upload Single Products

With Shopline’s effective features, merchants can have an easy time uploading and showcasing the wonderful products that they have to offer. If the merchant only has a small amount of items to upload, then they can use the single product upload tool. It’s intuitive, easy to use, and you can upload your first product in minutes!

Bulk Upload Products

If the merchant has a lot of products to upload, then it will be very inefficient to upload them 1 by 1. That’s why Shopline developed the bulk upload tool to allow merchants to upload up to 100 items at a time. Merchants only need to fill in the ready-made excel spreadsheet with relevant product details to upload their products by bulk. Efficient and easy!

Build Your Web Pages

If products are the heart, then web pages will be the most flexible and functional parts of your online store just like your limbs. These web pages should contain all the vital-functional information that will help result in a sale. From the company “About Us” page to your most important homepage, you should be able to create these pages in a breeze and change any information without the need to do programming work.

Shopline’s “Advanced Pages” feature is extremely versatile and easy-to-use with drag & drop customizability that allows merchants to customize and design their own pages.

Merchants start with a blank slate when they begin to design their web pages and with the drag & drop feature, media elements such as banners, videos, a Facebook Page Plugin, etc. can be dropped on the page with just 1 move and the results can be immediately seen on the storefront. Amazing!

After designing their web pages, Merchants can also manage their general settings and SEO settings. This includes the online store’s SEO title, URL and relevant keywords to optimize for search results.

Set Site Navigation

Before launching your online store, you need to make sure that all the products, categories, web pages, and other information are all in the right structure. This is when you need to think about the skeleton of your website. Do you put your “About Us” Page on the top menu or do you put it in the footer? Do you put the FAQ section in highly visible areas or just put it in the footer menu? These are the questions that should be contemplated on as you have limited screen real estate and adding irrelevant or confusing pages to your site will ruin customer experience.

This is where a clear navigation tool is needed. Shopline offers a simple-to-use tool for you to set which pages should be displayed where. You have the option to put internal links or external links in the top menu or footer menus.
